As we look ahead to 2027 and Piece by Piece's 20th anniversary, we've been reflecting on everything our community of donors, artists, and volunteers has helped us build together. Two decades of free mosaic art workshops. Thousands of Los Angeles artists who have found purpose, income, and stability through our programs. And a future that is only possible because of generous supporters like you.
With that in mind, we want to make sure giving to Piece by Piece is as easy and flexible as possible. Here are a few ways you can support our work, including some options you may not know are available.
Make a Pledge: Commit Today, Give When You're Ready
Not everyone is in a position to give a gift all at once, and that's okay. A pledge is a meaningful commitment to support Piece by Piece in the future, whether you plan to fulfill your gift over time or you're simply waiting for the right moment. Your commitment helps us plan ahead with confidence as we build out our 20th anniversary campaign, even before the funds arrive.
Making a pledge is simple. Visit our pledge page, then follow the prompts to let us know the amount you plan to give and your intended timeline. From there, you decide when and how to fulfill it, whether that's a single gift down the road or a series of payments that fit your budget. It is a wonderful option if you have been considering a larger gift to Piece by Piece but want the flexibility to give on your own schedule.
Give Through Your Donor Advised Fund
If you have a Donor Advised Fund, or DAF, you can now recommend a grant to Piece by Piece directly online. A DAF allows you to set aside charitable dollars, receive your tax benefit at the time of contribution, and then recommend gifts to organizations like ours whenever you're ready.
To give this way, visit our giving page and look for the option for other ways to donate. From there, our DAF integration will connect you directly to your fund so you can recommend your grant to Piece by Piece in just a few clicks. If you already have funds sitting in a DAF, it is one of the most efficient ways to make your giving go further.
Consider a Legacy Gift
For those who want to leave a lasting impact on Piece by Piece's future, a legacy gift is a powerful way to do it. Including Piece by Piece in your estate plans, whether through a bequest, a beneficiary designation, or another planned giving vehicle, helps ensure that free mosaic art workshops and pathways to economic opportunity continue for artists in Los Angeles for decades to come.
