On Sunday, May 3, from 1:00 to 4:30 PM, Piece by Piece artists will host a special Mother’s Day Mosaic Workshop at Boomtown Brewery (700 Jackson St., Los Angeles). This family-friendly gathering invites guests of all ages to experience the joy of mosaic art while making something truly personal and heartfelt.
Make a Mosaic Gift with Heart and Impact
Participants can choose between two handmade projects, both designed to be accessible, meaningful gifts:
All materials are included, and Piece by Piece mosaic artists, many of whom have transformed their own lives through art, will guide you step by step. Whether you’re brand new to mosaics or already love working with tile and glass, our team will support you in creating something you can be proud to give or keep.
This workshop is designed to be easy, flexible, and welcoming. Drop in anytime between 1:00 and 4:30 PM, make your mosaic at your own pace, and enjoy the lively atmosphere at Boomtown Brewery. Boomtown will have beers on tap available for purchase, and a food truck will be on site, making this a great afternoon outing with friends, family, or colleagues.
Mosaic making is a wonderful activity to share across generations. Children are welcome, and we encourage families to create together as a way to connect, slow down, and share stories. For safety and support, children under age 12 should have an adult actively assisting them with their mosaic.
